Min Amanne Tatreez Designs · Tatreez.app by Min Amanne
The Community is a place to share cross-stitch designs and celebrate the craft of the needle. Tatreez, Palestinian embroidery, is where Min Amanne began. The app is made for tatreez and built for every cross-stitch design, and everyone who stitches is welcome here.
These guidelines apply to anything you publish, including patterns, photos, and comments, and to how you take part in chat and stitching circles. By publishing or commenting, you agree to follow them.
1. What to share
- Original patterns you designed
- Adaptations of traditional motifs, from tatreez or any other embroidery tradition. Credit the region or tradition when you can.
- Patterns converted from your own photos
- Finished work and works in progress
- Anything you have the right to share
2. What not to share
- Sexually explicit or suggestive imagery or patterns
- Nudity intended to arouse
- Violence, gore, or cruelty
- Hate speech, harassment, or discrimination
- Content promoting illegal activity
- Spam, scams, or misleading links
- Content unrelated to stitching or pattern design
- Patterns or images that infringe someone else's copyright, including paid patterns from other designers and licensed characters or artwork you don't have permission to use
- Content that exploits minors in any way. We have zero tolerance for this.
3. Respect and heritage
Embroidery is living cultural heritage, and many of the motifs shared here carry generations of meaning. Please share with care.
- Don't present traditional motifs as your own invention without acknowledgment. If a design comes from a tradition, name it.
- Don't use the Community to mock, demean, or appropriate Palestinian culture or any other culture's textile traditions.
- If you're not sure how to credit a motif, ask. Our community is glad to help.
4. Stitching circles
Circles are live video calls. Everything above applies to what you show and say in them, and:
- Don't record, screenshot, or stream a circle or anyone in it without their permission. Circles aren't recorded by us.
- Keep your camera on what you're stitching or on yourself. Nothing else on screen that these guidelines don't allow.
- Be kind to beginners and let everyone have a turn. The host leads the circle and can mute or remove people.
- Hosts: start and end on time, and keep the circle about stitching.
- If something goes wrong in a circle, leave it and email support@tatreez.app with the circle and who was involved.
5. Moderation
- All posts are reviewed automatically and may be held for manual review.
- We may remove content, reject posts, or suspend accounts when these guidelines are broken.
- Three or more reports may automatically hide a post while we review it.
- If you think we got it wrong, contact us at support@tatreez.app and we'll take another look.
- Repeated violations may result in a permanent ban.
6. Reporting and blocking
- Tap Report on any post that breaks these guidelines.
- Tap Block to stop seeing a user's content.
- For urgent safety issues, email support@tatreez.app.
7. Your responsibility
You are responsible for what you publish. Min Amanne doesn't review every detail of every pattern and isn't liable for content that users submit.
