Cross-stitch charts in real DMC colours, ready to print or share

Every colour in Tatreez is a real thread with its number, so a chart you make is a shopping list too. Print it as a PDF, or save it as an .oxs file for other cross-stitch apps.

The full DMC range

Pick colours from the complete DMC stranded cotton range, each with its thread number, or from the Tatreez Classics, a short palette of traditional tatreez colours. The chart counts the stitches in every colour, so you know how much of each thread you'll use.

Printable PDF cross-stitch charts (Pro)

Export a PDF chart with a cover page, a symbol for every colour, bold grid lines every ten stitches, a thread key with DMC numbers, and a floss shopping list. Large designs split across pages with a page map, so nothing gets lost. Choose your paper size, and print in colour or black and white.

OXS files for other cross-stitch apps (Pro)

.oxs is an open cross-stitch format that many pattern makers and pattern readers open. Export your design as .oxs to stitch it in your favourite app, or import an .oxs pattern into Tatreez to edit it or track it.

Frequently asked questions

Can I make a DMC cross-stitch chart for free?

Yes. Designing with DMC threads is free. Printable PDF charts and .oxs export are part of Pro.

What is an .oxs file?

An open XML format for cross-stitch patterns. It stores the stitches, the thread colours and the chart's size, so a pattern can move between apps without losing anything. Read more in the OXS guide.

Can I open an .oxs pattern I bought?

Yes. Import it from your designs page to view it, edit it, or track it stitch by stitch.
